More Than 90% Foreign Cricketers Agree to Play PSL Matches in Pakistan



Good news for cricket fans in Pakistan as owner of Karachi Kings says almost all of the foreign cricketers are willing to come to Pakistan. Salman Iqbal, Karachi Kings owner, in an interview said that six out of seven foreign players in his team are ready to visit Pakistan.
Salman said that players of other franchises are also ready to for playoff matches in Pakistan.

Play-offs and Final of Pakistan Super League 2018 will be played in Lahore and Karachi. Last year, most players were hesitant to come to Pakistan. However, after the successful tours of Sri Lankan cricket team and World XI, the situation has improved significantly.

Karachi Kings owner disclosed this news at the launch ceremony for Karachi Kings’s official kits. Iqbal said;
Six of our seven players are ready to come and play in Pakistan [from the beginning]. Eoin Morgan, who has commitments to other leagues, [is the sole exception]. He will be coming late and will be leaving early. This is good news for all of us that players have agreed to come here and we hope everything stays well.

Apart from Karachi Kings, Salman Iqbal says other teams’ players have also shown their willingness to visit Pakistan for the matches. He said;
Overall, 98% of the players have agreed to come to Lahore and Karachi. Some are left and hopefully they will also agree soon.
PSL 2018 will kick off from February 22 with Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans facing off in Dubai.
